Founder Message

In Loving Memory of Our Founder: Late Mrs. Chandra Kiran Mathur

When I founded Aliganj Montessori School in 1975, I had a simple yet profound vision — to build an institution where education was more than the acquisition of knowledge. I believed, and still believe, that a school should be organized in such a way that along with education, physical development and mental thoughts can be balanced properly. Education, after all, is not just about books — it is about nurturing the whole child: the mind, the body, and the spirit.

It is the noble responsibility of every teacher to shape the future of the children entrusted to them. Our duty is not only to teach them subjects, but to plant the seeds of good thoughts and strong moral values — seeds that will grow into a lifetime of wisdom, integrity, and purpose.

At Aliganj Montessori, our guiding motto is “Educate the Mind”, and with it, we strive to create well-educated, socially aware citizens — young individuals who not only excel academically but also understand the importance of empathy, discipline, and service to society.

My heart and hopes remain within the walls of this school. I have deep faith in the hands of our educators, the promise of our students, and the enduring strength of the vision we began with. May this institution continue to grow with grace, uphold its values, and shine as a beacon of meaningful education for generations to come.

With warmth and blessings,
Mrs. Chandra Kiran Mathur
